The Lighthouse

Collector’s Edition — 4K

2019 · Directed by Robert Eggers · United States edition

4K UHDIn print

Two lighthouse keepers become increasingly isolated in Robert Eggers’ black-and-white chamber drama. A24’s collector’s package combines a narrow-frame UHD presentation with a tactile slipcase and production-related printed material. Its format choices share a product page, so the exact 4K selection matters. The design and included material make it a useful example of an edition built around the film’s visual world rather than a numbered scarcity claim.

THE CURATOR’S NOTES

What makes this edition different?

This edition suits a collector interested in the relationship between the finished film and its production design. The booklet’s drawings and storyboard material offer another way into the work, and the textured package has an identity beyond an ordinary case. Its listed Dolby Vision presentation and commentary are also relevant if you are comparing feature sets. The label does not state a limited quantity on the product page. Buy it because the format and materials fit your interests, and confirm that a second-hand listing contains the UHD rather than the similarly presented Blu-ray.
