Umbrella Entertainment

A place to start.

Umbrella's catalog provides a route into Australian cinema alongside international films, cult favorites, and rediscoveries. For collectors outside Australia, it is also a reminder that the edition you see in a local shop may not be the only physical presentation of a film. Start with the Australian listing and identify the specific disc format and package before comparing it with another territory's release.

A substantial collector's package deserves to be judged component by component. Count the film discs, inspect the versions included, and separate original audio options from later remixes. Read the descriptions of books, reproductions, cards, and other objects to decide whether they add something you want to explore. When importing, compare the complete delivered cost rather than only the sticker price. Ask how a retailer protects a large box during shipping, and read its policy on cosmetic damage if condition matters to you. For used sets, photographs of corners, spines, trays, and printed material are more informative than a generic condition label. The most satisfying purchase is a film and edition you want to live with, supported by clear information about exactly what will arrive.
